E-Mail Support

How do I setup my LGIE.net e-mail for use with Apple Mail?

1) Open 'Mail'
2) Click 'Mail' on the menu bar and then click 'Preferences'
3) Click the 'Accounts' icon in the 'Preferences' window
4) Click the '+' button on the bottom-left corner of the 'Accounts' panel to create a new e-mail account
5) In the 'Account Information' panel select 'POP3' from the 'Account Type' drop-down menu
6) Enter anything for your e-mail account in the 'Description' text field
7) Enter your e-mail address into the 'Email Address' text field (i.e. username@lgie.net)
8) Enter your name in to the 'Full Name' text field (this will be the name displayed in place of your e-mail address when a recipient receives an e-mail from you)
9) In the 'Incoming Mail Server' text field enter mail.lgie.net
10) In the 'User Name' text field enter your full e-mail address again (i.e. username@lgie.net)
11) In the 'Password' text field enter your account password (this should be the same as you internet account password)
12) From the 'Outgoing Mail Server' drop-down, select 'Add Server' this will cause the 'SMTP Server Options' window to appear
13) In the 'Outgoing Mail Server' text field enter mail.lgie.net
14) Set the 'Server Port' to 25 and be sure the 'Authentication' drop-down is set to 'Password'
15) In the 'User Name' text field enter your full e-mail addres (i.e. username@lgie.net)
16) In the 'Password' text field enter your account password and then click 'OK'
17) Close the 'Accounts' window

Your LGIE.net e-mail should now be setup, you can now recieve and send e-mail in Apple Mail.
